​KAREAREA RD-026 TALON SVX  (Stretched Vertical X) 260 6 inch propellers

 

  • ​The KAREAREA TALON is a 260mm class FPV racer for 6" propellers using its own uniquely designed lightweight monocoque chassis. It is the first 260mm drone with vertical arms that has a stretched X.

  • The unique design of the Talon's Stretched Vertical arm makes minimum air turbulence between propeller and arm, also optimized C.G combined with vertical arms provide superior handling performance at high speed and amazing straightness has. Ends of arm work as bumpers to protect the motors from impact of the crash.

  • ​Full 3K Japan Toray T700 grade plane matte carbon fiber plate (not twill, plane CF is much stronger on impact from all directions of crashes).

 

  • Light weight frame set weights 106g (+, - 1~2g), including hardware.

  • All aluminum parts are made from 7075 T6 aero grade with hard anodizing. (except stand off)

  • Beautifully chamfered edges cut carbon plates.

  • Stretched X-frame. The distance between two motors are 260mm (diagonally, measured from center to center of motors).

  • Under mount battery for greater COG.

  • Monocoque type side plates helps protect CCD camera.

  • Compatible with FPV cameras. (28-29mm CCD cams) Such as RunCam Swift and Foxeer FPV CCD Camera.   

 

  • Action Cameras can be mounted (e.g. GoPro, Run Cam) by using optional 3D printed camera mount. (Not included).

Vertical arms create

more than 80% less air drag and

produces huge propulsion system efficiency (compared to other racing quads). Most of the other racing drone's arm have it placed in horizontal position. This creates huge air drag and turbulence which reduces the drone’s performance.

The motors are never going to over heat!

Aluminum motor mount cools down the motor temperature very quickly. There is also a wide open area under the motor mount to avoid any motors from over heating.

This prevents motors from overheating for them to last longer~  

Beautifully cut chamfered edges. There are no sharp edges to prevent any Velcro straps from ripping. This further secures the action cam.

Two different height version. Low and Tall side plate depends on your number of PCB boards.

Low height side plate/ All in one FC with 4in1 ESC (example) 2 layers PCB boards .

Tall height side plate/ FC, PDB and 4in1 ESC (example) 2 layers PCB boards or power cube.
